Surface-mount technology (SMT) is a method
for producing electronic circuits
in which the components are mounted
or placed directly onto the surface of PCB.
Wave soldering is an automated process in which components are soldered onto a pcb as the board passes over the top of a wave of solder.
This process utilizes a cleaning and soldering aid chemical agent called flux to prepare the boards, which are preheated,
before the bottom of the boards are passed over a flowing wave of heated solder.
